5th LAS Core Modules Course &
5th LAS Basic Skills Course
The BSRC 'Alexander Fleming' is hosting the 5th LAS Core Modules Course and the 5th LAS Basic Skills Course in July 2024.
The Courses content includes the Core Modules and Skills-specific Modules as described in the Commission “Working Document on the development of a common education and training framework to fulfil the requirements under the Directive 2010/63/EU”.
The 5th LAS Basic Skills Course is complementary to the 5th LAS Core Modules Course.
Attendance of both Courses is required for coverage of all Modules for functions A, C and D.

With more than 1.5 million deaths by the end of 2020 and no signs of slowing down, the COVID-19 pandemic is one of the deadliest diseases to plague mankind in recent times. Considerable scientific effort from all over the world has been rallied to fight this common foe.
With this free-of-charge TA Call `COVID-19 Therapeutics Pipeline´, INFRAFRONTIER is providing researchers access to test their innovative and novel COVID-19 therapeutics in a standardised infection pipeline that uses preclinical models to study COVID-19 infection.

Free Access call - June 2020
The main objective of this call is to deliver free-of-charge, one novel mouse model of human disease to the biomedical research community (academic and non-academic) based in Greece. The novel mouse line should advance knowledge of human disease and should be of widespread use in biomedical science. Recent advances in genome editing technology will be used to develop the new mouse model. Access to this free-of-charge-service will be granted mainly on the basis of the applicant’s research plans and the potential impact of the proposed novel mouse line on the wider biomedical research community.

Free of charge mouse phenotyping services
The objective of this Call is to provide free access to state-of-the-art mouse phenotyping
platforms to the Greek biomedical research community, including standardized and customized
assays used to monitor disease parameters and elucidate the molecular and genetic basis of
pathologic processes involved in chronic degenerative diseases. Four (4) phenotyping projects
will be supported through this Call.
